Charlee Martin

Environmental Education Coordinator

Career Highlights & Education

I graduated from Clayton State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Chemistry minor and have credits leading to a Masters of Teaching from the University of Southern California.

I have more than 10 years of experience teaching Environmental Education and have worked for several amazing organizations including the Ecological Society of America, Wildlife Resources Division of the GA Department of Natural Resources, Fernbank Museum of Natural History and the Wylde Center.

Covid-19 threw a wrench into the EE world and I ended up coordinating activities for elders at a retirement community for the past year before finding and excitedly accepting the Environmental Education Coordinator position at the Southern Conservation Trust in June of 2021.

It’s just me and my Ball Python, Byakugan.

I develop and implement animal, environmental, and outdoor education programs, on-site and in several parks managed by SCT. I’m excited to bring my experience and creativity to the community of Fayetteville and surrounding areas.
