I graduated from the University of Georgia in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a focus on Animal Science. Throughout college I volunteered with various humane societies, and assisted in their event planning and fundraising. After graduating, I worked for the University of Georgia as their head laboratory technician in the Feed and Forage Laboratory, and volunteered with local Extension offices assisting in 4-H coaching and events. Over the next two years, I moved fully into the event industry, with a focus on Weddings and Special Occasion Events in the metro Atlanta area. I was honored to accept a position with Southern Conservation Trust in April of 2021, as their Event and Content Coordinator, and I am excited to start this journey with such an amazing organization.
I am originally from Tifton, Georgia, but moved to Athens for school- it was there I met my husband Clayton, who I married in 2020. We moved here in 2019 with our various pets, and love being a part of the amazing communities in the area. We currently have 2 dogs (Koda and Moose), 2 cats (Binx and Kit), and 1 horse (Rocky). Each was adopted or rescued and have their own unique stories, and truly made our house a home. Our dogs love going on hikes and to the beach with us, while our cats enjoy snuggles and napping.
