Our Mission

The Fayette Environmental Education Center (FEEC) promotes conservation by nurturing children and adults through environmental and agriculture education, land protection and restoration, native wildlife and habitats, and encouraging meaningful interaction with nature.

FEEC fulfills its mission by:

  • Promoting environmental awareness and respect through education
  • Providing a space where people of all ages can explore nature to the fullest
  • Exhibit halls that bring you face to face with Georgia wildlife and their habitats
  • Providing education on conservation and restoration initiatives in Georgia and beyond
  • Educating a new generation on sustainable agricultural practices

Become A Volunteer

As an SCT volunteer you can earn points for your hard work. For every hour served you earn a green point that is redeemable for SCT swag and tickets to educational programs and events. Volunteers are also recognized when serving more than 10 hours with an invitation to FREE volunteer-only recognition events.

Our Capital Campaign’s ultimate goal is to raise money for improvements not only to our facility, but our exhibits, educational center, and conservation. You can become a sponsor or give an in-kind donation.

A home base for conservation initiatives, nature area development, environmental education, agricultural education, as well as an environmental art program. This facility will encompass all that the Southern Conservation Trust does, and share it in a teachable way with the community we love.
