Join us for one or all four weeks of Camp WILD this summer at the Fayette Environmental Education Center, a project of the Southern Conservation Trust. Each week offers a different theme with fun games, activities, live animal encounters, and crafts so your camper can keep the fun going all summer long. In addition to nature-based themes, Camp WILD offers a unique Art Day every Wednesday to explore various aspects of nature and how it inspires us to create! Then on Fridays, we’ll wrap up the week with a Friday Fun Day Camp Out where campers will have a water war with the City of Fayetteville Fire Department, make messy s’mores by the campfire, and chill out with popsicles the way summers are meant to be enjoyed! Camp happens rain or shine! Midday snacks are included!
Open to ages 7 – 11 (must be 7 by the start of summer)
Member Registration opens February 14th $175 per week
Non-Member Registration begins February 21st $200 per week
This week we’ll become detectives of the natural world and take everything we learn to track animals by the clues they leave behind.
If you love all things cold-blooded, slimy and scaly, this week is right up reptile alley! We’ll discover what makes reptiles, reptiles, amphibians, amphibians, the difference between the two and meet some live examples, up close and personal!
They’re creepy, crawly, and downright magical. You heard that right! Bugs are some of the coolest critters on this planet with talents and abilities beyond belief. Join us this week as we talk about the amazing world of bugs!
Water, water everywhere and we’ll discuss every drop! From why we need it, to where you can find it and some fun and exciting ways to play in it! We’ll even do some cool experiments and participate in crazy competitions.
